Guided walks
exploring some of the finest heritage assets Mount Edgcumbe has to offer
We have come to the end of our summer 2026 season of guided walks exploring some of the most important heritage assets Mount Edgcumbe has to offer. The tours featured Mount Edgcumbe House, the English Garden House, the French Garden House and the Orangery and were led by Dr Malcolm Cross, who has conducted extensive research on the Country Park and the many heritage assets it contains. The walks, outside events of approximately 2 hours duration, were free to attend.
Bespoke walks have also been conducted for The Cornish Buildings Group and the Arts Society Plymouth & South Devon. An event is scheduled for students from the Plymouth University MA Heritage Theory & Practice.
